AFC provides cervical and breast cancer screening, referrals for free mammograms and additional treatment including biopsy, surgery and chemotherapy as needed. Our Breast Health Community Outreach Program opens our breast health services to all low-income, uninsured Arlington women. Since 2010, we have been partnering with other local organizations that serve low-income Arlingtonians to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate breast cancer education throughout the community, and provide previously unserved women access to breast cancer screening. Through this program, AFC increases its reach by offering a limited service to Arlington residents who are not full-time, registered AFC patients. Any woman identified to have breast cancer immediately becomes a patient and is provided timely access to needed care.
