Opening for Director of Programs & Patient Services

Arlington Free Clinic (AFC) is seeking a dynamic, well-organized, team-oriented individual with a passion for providing free, high-quality healthcare to low-income, uninsured adults to join our professional team. The Director of Programs and Patient Services is a member of AFC’s Executive Team, reporting directly to the President, responsible for planning, leading, and managing programs and projects essential to the provision of healthcare services at AFC.

Responsibilities:

Program Management: Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing non-medical clinical and administrative programs and staff.

Special Projects: Plans and leads special projects to meet the objectives of the organization and the needs of the patient community.

Leadership: Serves as a member of AFC’s Executive Team to collectively support the mission and strategic priorities of Arlington Free Clinic.

Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years’ experience in project/program management, preferably in the nonprofit or healthcare setting.
  • Clinical degree preferred/experience not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in use of technology to manage data and information.

This is an excellent full-time (.08 FTE considered), on site position offering competitive salary ($67,000-80,000) and benefits, including medical/dental/FSA and retirement benefits.
