Unfortunately, we are limited in the number of new patients we can accept. AFC takes new patients through a monthly lottery.

What to Bring

• On lottery day, please come to the Clinic between 10:00 and 10:30 AM to pick up a lottery letter. Arriving early will not help you get selected. Letters will not be given out until 10:00 AM. Everyone who picks up a letter by 10:30 AM has an equal chance to become a patient. To receive a letter, you must bring:
  • Picture ID
  • Proof of Arlington residency (e.g., a bill or bank statement dated within the past two months)
  • Proof that you have been in the U.S. more than one year
• The drawing will be held at 10:30 AM.
• If your letter is drawn, you will be registered to become a patient.
• Please plan to stay at the Clinic for approximately two hours if your number is drawn.
• If your letter is not drawn, you can participate in the next lottery.
