There are many ways you can contribute to Arlington Free Clinic to
help provide vital healthcare to the uninsured in our community.
Donations are used to cover the operating expenses incurred in
providing thousands of medical visits and medications each year
for our patients.
Donate Online Now
You can donate online by clicking the Donate Now button and using your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express card. This is a secure and easy way to support the
Clinic. You can also make a gift in honor of or memory of a loved
one through this site.
Donate by Mail or Phone
You can send your donation to Arlington Free Clinic, 3833
North Fairfax Drive, Suite 400, Arlington, VA 22203. Please call
Pat McDermott, Director of Development, at (703) 979-1425, Ext.
21 to make a donation through your debit, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express card.
Matching Gifts
Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage
employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of
these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some
will even triple the amount of your gift! Please check with your
employer about their matching program, complete the required
forms, and send to Arlington Free Clinic
Gifts of Securities
A gift of appreciated securities held for more than one year
can provide significant benefits to you as well as Arlington
Free Clinic. If you are interested in donating securities, please
call Pat McDermott at (703) 979-1425, Ext. 21 for instructions
and forms.
United Way and CFC Deductions
If you choose Arlington Free Clinic (UW #8247, CFC# 86926), your donation
will be deducted from your paycheck. This is an easy and convenient
way to provide support for the Clinic. Please visit United Way
National Capital Area for more information at www.unitedwaynca.org
In lieu of flowers…
When a loved one has died you may chose to have family and
friends make a donation to Arlington Free Clinic rather than
sending flowers. Arlington Free Clinic will send a personal thank
you to each donor and send the designated family a list of donors
and their addresses.
In honor of…
Make a donation to commemorate a holiday, birthday, wedding,
or other special occasion. The special person you honor will
receive a letter from Arlington Free Clinic notifying him or
her of your thoughtfulness and generosity.
Supporting the Benefit/Gala
The 2007 black tie Benefit Gala dinner dance was held on October 13, 2007 at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. It is the major fundraising event for Arlington Free Clinic.
One-third of the Clinic's operating income is generated from this event.
You can support the 2008 Gala on October 18, 2008, by buying a table at the event,
buying tickets to the event, making a Special Gift, and by purchasing
raffle tickets. Please contact Jody Kelly at (703) 979-1425,
Ext.43, or jody@arlingtonfreeclinic.org for more information
about supporting this fundraising event.

Planned Giving
Planned giving integrates a donor’s charitable gift with
his or her overall financial, tax, and estate planning goals to
maximize benefits to both the donor and Arlington Free Clinic.
Planned gifts typically come from a donor’s assets rather
than income, and can be either outright or deferred. Some types
of gifts include:
- Gifts from Your Will or Trust
- Gifts of Appreciated Securities
- Gifts of Life Insurance
- Gifts from Your Retirement Plan
Please consult with your own tax or legal advisor prior
to making a planned gift to Arlington Free Clinic. In addition, please
contact
Pat McDermott, Director of Development, at (703) 979-1425,
Ext. 21, pmcdermott@arlingtonfreeclinic.org, to discuss your interest
in making a planned gift to Arlington
Free Clinic.
The Legacy Club recognizes supporters who perpetuate the mission
of Arlington Free Clinic with a bequest or other planned gift.

wall and in the annual report. To initiate membership in The Legacy
Club please complete this form (PDF 20K) and return to Pat McDermott at Arlington
