Ways to Give

Financial donations are used to cover the operating expenses necessary to support thousands of medical visits and medications for our patients.

  • Donate Online Now – You can donate online by clicking the Donate Now button and using your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express card.
  • Donate by Mail or Phone – You can send your donation to Arlington Free Clinic, 2921 11th St. South, Arlington, VA 22204, or call (703) 979-1425, ext. 121.
  • In Lieu of Flowers – When a loved one has died, you may chose to have family and friends make a donation to AFC rather than sending flowers. AFC will send a personal thank you to each donor and send the family a list of donors.
  • In Honor of – Make a donation to commemorate a holiday, birthday, wedding, or other special occasion. Your honoree will receive a card from AFC notifying him or her of your gift.
  • Support the Annual Benefit Gala – You can support AFC’s annual fundraiser, the black tie Benefit Gala held in October. You can buy tickets, a table, sponsorships or donate silent auction items.   • Gifts of Securities – A gift of securities held for more than one year can provide significant benefits to you as well as AFC. If you are interested in donating securities, please call Pat McDermott at (703) 979-1425, ext. 121, for instructions and forms.
  • Planned Gifts – Planned giving integrates a donor’s charitable gift with his or her overall financial, tax, and estate planning goals to maximize benefits to both the donor and AFC. Arlington Free Clinic gratefully accepts gifts of appreciated securities, bequests, retirement plans, or life insurance policies.   • Matching Gifts – Many companies offer matching gift programs and match contributions dollar for dollar or better. Please check with your employer about its matching program, complete the required forms and send to AFC.
